Fountain Terrace was built in 1880 and has been lovingly restored to its former glory by your hosts, Penny and Heikki. The Bed & Breakfast is an excellent alternative to large, city hotels with a professional yet friendly environment for the business person or visitor to Melbourne. Only moments from the sea & proximity to the world famous restaurants on Fitzroy & Acland Streets. With 7 beautiful rooms all with private ensuite facilities, each room has been individually decorated to transport you into a world of luxury. Two of our rooms have luxury King Size beds, spa baths and heated towel rails, a romantic weekend or just an excuse for self-indulgence. All rooms have television, clock radio, tea and coffee making facilities, refrigerator, heat lamps in ensuites, heating and air-conditioning. Disabled access is also available. An indulgent breakfast is served at a lovely refectory table in the drawing room, where dappled sunlight shines through gently flowing curtains.
