Our property provides many picturesque locations, including a large seasonal swamp and lake which are natural environments for abundant bird and wildlife species. The billabong, adjacent to the river, is another picturesque location and attraction for wildlife. All are popular spots for bushwalking, bird watching, picnic lunches or a cool evening drink whilst taking in the beauty and splendour of the sunsets and magnificent evening skies. Children find the chickens, ducks and geese behind the cottage of great interest and are welcome to collect fresh eggs daily. A visit to the nearby quaint bush Church reveals a cemetery where a local recipient of a VC is laid to rest. Services are still conducted here for the local community.
